His source of wealth is traceable to Telecommunication, Oil and Real Estate. He is the chairman of Globacom, a telecom company with operation in Nigeria and some African countries. He also owns Conoil. He is estimated to be around $6.1 Billion.

Next on the list is Otedola the Oil magnate.  He was born in Ibadan, Oyo state on the 4th of November, 1962. He controls a number of business ranging from Oil and Gas to Real Estate, Shipping, and Finance.

According to Forbes ranking, he is the third richest person in Nigeria. He is the CEO of Forte Oil Plc and Zenon Oil and Gas. His worth estimate is around $2.3 Billion.

  1. Folorunsho Alakija

According to Forbes, she is the richest black woman on earth.  Inferably, she is the richest woman in Nigeria. She was born in Ikorodu, Lagos State in 1951. She has a wide interest in Fashion, Oil and Gas, Real Estate among others. As of early 2017, her estimated Net worth was around $1.5 Billion.

Currently as it stands, President Buhari is no doubt the most influential politician in the country.  This is because as the President, he can influence a lot of persons and things. The level of influence he commands, especially in the Northern part of the country helped in his election as the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
